Remember Pastor Cantu's sermon about the Palm Trees? I have some more tree pictures coming that support the part about 'and the leaves never wither and they constantly bear fruit.' God is healing the land of Fiji! 

This is the A-Team having dinner at J.J.'s [voted best Fiji restaurant of 2003]. Pastor Buddy Hicks of Humble, TX is front right. Second from left is Pastor Lonnie from Pampa, TX... he is also the mayor of Pampa, TX. God is up to something over there! 

This was the route we took across the Pacific. We crossed the International Date Line and gained a day. I will lose it when I go back and feel much older actually about 8 hours older than when I leave Fiji. O well! 

This is our first Fijian Sunset from the balcony of the Southern Cross Hotel. 

All the volcanic activity ceased a long time ago, but on the Western side of the island, there is gold mining. I didn't know that about Fiji.

This was our Air Pacific 747 that carried us 10.5 hours across the Pacific to Nadi, Fiji. We arrived at 5am and had a Ukelele Team crooning Island Greetings so we wouldn't be stressed when we found out that our ride wasn't there. And noone answers phones at 5:30am on the island!  

I flew in and out of LAX on Sunday, Aug 29, 2004. Hoping to see this airport again on September 9, 2004 if the Lord says the same. 

We are staying here in the Southern Cross Hotel. Room 504 in Suva if you wanna give us a call. (Just Kidding -as Arnold would say!)

Good morning from Fiji!  I am here with the Sentinel Group ( http://sentinelgroup.org ) and being amazed by what God is doing on these islands through His mighty power. 

 

I am 18 hours ahead of my Houston connections, and although it is 5:13am, it is a day later.  When I return to the States, I will actually arrive before I leave.  :)

 

I will try and keep some flow on this page of what I am doing.  I have been here since Monday 5am, and have been translating English/Spanish for Pastor Roosevelt Muriel, Bogota, Colombia.  He appears in the first Transformations Video describing how God sovereignly brought all the congregations in Cali, Colombia together for an all night prayer meeting of 14, 000 people in a stadium.  The next one was 45,000 people... gathering to pray.  God heard and answered, and the drug cartels began to dissipate, and even more miraculous, churches began to work together.  Now Pastor Muriel is in Bogota planning a national campaign of Unity in the Body of Christ.

 

I will try and keep you posted of all the things I am seeeing and hearing.  It is amazing what is happening on these Fiji Islands.  MIRACULOUS!  Signs and Wonders!
